EN The Allwyn Czech BMX Cup continued last weekend with two more races. The traditional event King of Prague 2026 was organized by Bikrosclub Řepy on the track in U Boroviček Street. And he had two winners. Viktor Oldřich Chudoba from the organizing Bikrosclub Řepy won on Saturday, Vít Gruntorád from TJ BMX Pardubice was the best on Sunday. The final of Saturday's seventh race, in which men, competitors of the U23 category and juniors started together, was won by Chudoba, who is still competing in the U23 category. He was followed by junior Oliver Miltner (Faler bike team), Jan Švub (Bikros club Jeseník) finished third. The eighth race on Sunday was dominated by another rider in the U23 category, Gruntorád. Jakub Cidlinský (SC BMX Venátky) and third Sebastian Sulka (CK Twister) crossed the finish line behind him. "On both days, we had 370 people at the start, which exceeded our expectations. On Saturday it was very hot, on Sunday the weather was more pleasant and it rained several times. But the track was still perfectly fine," said coach of the national team and director of the Prague race Lukáš Tamme from the organizing Bicrossclub Řepy. The races were at the same time a dress rehearsal for the championship of the Czech Republic and the last chance to qualify for the domestic championship. The Czech Championship will take place in two weeks in Venátky nad Jizerou. On Saturday, August 29, 2026, titles will be fought for in individual categories, and team races are scheduled for Sunday.
