Milovice spojily závodění s pomocí

Last weekend, the 7th and 8th part of the Czech League took place on the track in Milovice. Both races had the title of the Milovice Grand Prix and the Petr Rošek Memorial, respectively. During the weekend, 350 competitors were able to test the newly paved corner, which began the ongoing renovation of the local track, whose history dates back to the 1980s.

The organizers again chose Vojtík Zatloukal, a native of Milovice who suffers from cerebral palsy. This year, it was possible to collect 46,000. CZK, which is a record, and we all hope that it will only increase in the coming years.

Nice fights took place in all categories and there was definitely something to watch all weekend. For everyone, I would point out a beautiful Sunday fight in the 8-year-old category, where Radek Houška and Filip Crha did not give each other a single piece and fought for the first place the whole way.

Spectators and current riders had the opportunity to travel back in time thanks to retro riding on period BMX bikes. It's unbelievable how technically bicross has moved and is still moving.

The Sunday program was started by loving members with a memorial ride for the unexpectedly deceased former chairman Petr Rošek, to whom this day was dedicated for the second time. 40 local competitors paid their respects to his memory with dignity.

Next year, hopefully, we will be able to fit in the dates so that racers from Moravia can also arrive and try out the still "new" track on the domestic colbi tracks.
