The last three races took place over the past two weeks and there were opportunities to test your form before the upcoming highlight of the domestic calendar, the Sazka Championship of the Czech Republic in Prague-Bohnice. A week ago, two more rounds of the MBL took place in Vyškov, this weekend two rounds of the CBL in Nižbor and at the same time the 3 Nations Cup in Ahnatal, Germany.

But let's start in order. The Moravian Bicross League in Vyškov took place in sunny weather and traditionally enjoyed a decent number of competitors. The local track has undergone major changes in the form of a brand new third straight, which was definitely a step up from last year's. In the 15/16 category, home Jaromír Honzák won on both days, making the most of the advantage of the home environment. The Men 17+ category, on the other hand, was directed by Jakub Klement from the SK Jantar Opava team for both days. MBL will host the last double race of the season in October at the Bike Team Uničov track.

CBL continued on the track in Nižbor this weekend. Around 150 riders lined up for the start of the race. The track was excellently prepared and in its type resembled classic American bicross from the old days, which was nice. The possibility of choosing between the mini section and the section in the category 15/16 and Men 17+ was definitely a good choice for me, and it's good that the riders also tried the section. The victory in the 15/16 category was shared between Saturday's winner Šimon Aksamit (Bikrosclub Řepy) and Sunday's Oliver Miltner (Faler Bike Team). The Men 17+ category was directed by Vojtěch Polesný (Bikrosclub Řepy).

And finally, the 3 Nations Cup in Ahnatal, Germany was another opportunity to collect valuable points for the UCI ranking, which determines the number of riders who can start for their nation at the World Championship. We had Czech representation here as well. In the Boys 15/16 category, Vít Novotný (TJ Favorit Brno) finished in sixth place. Marek Neužil was undefeated throughout the day and became the winner in the Men U23 category. Eliška Bartuňková took third place among elite women.

The results from MBL and CBL are available here on the website. So, now all our attention is focused on the upcoming weekend in Prague-Bohnice. See you there!
