EN This year's UCI Pump Track World Championship 2023 was hosted by the Austrian city of Oetztal, where Sabina Košárková was present at the start of the race. Závody In this still young and extremely popular cycling discipline, we have already seen success in the form of second place at the 2022 Pump Track World Championships, which Sabina took care of. This year, she could not participate in the first ever Czech Championship in pump track in Tošovice, because she was having surgery on her wrist, which she had been struggling with this whole season. The start at the World Championships in Austria was therefore not certain, even though she won her place through the qualifying race. It was only a few days before the actual race that she got back on the pedals and took part in that WC. And as her speech on the bike and the result itself showed, it was not just about formal participation. For her performance, she deservedly won her second silver medal from this discipline at the World Championships!
