EN The first weekend of May was marked by the opening double race of the Sazka Czech BMX Cup 2024, which was hosted by BMX Team Brno in the Brno-Nový Lískovec district. Závody No less than 350 competitors not only from our country, but also from Slovakia and Hungary took part in the overall successful weekend. The 15/16 category was marked by a big fall of several favorites in the Saturday final, however Albert Vlček from Bikrosclub Řepy, who is also a member of the Czech Talent Team, celebrated the victory on both days. Sunday's podium finish in this category was entirely under the direction of the team from Prague-Řep. In the highest category, Junior-U23-Elite Men, there was something to watch again, as this category is also very balanced. Juniors in particular are fighting for leading positions, which could bring them valuable experience for European races.
